Rectangular billet caster is also included in billet caster. Usually, the casting slab or equivalent section area larger than 200 * 200mm is called bloom. The billet with section or equivalent area less than 160 * 160mm is called billet, and the width to thickness ratio is greater than 3. The rectangular billet is called slab.
The casting machine can be divided into single - flow, double - flow or multi - flow casting machine if the casting machine can be distinguished by the number of casting billets that can be cast under the same ladle.
